At McLane, one way in which we recognize diversity throughout our workplace is through disability inclusion. In 2013, McLane introduced the SPARK Initiative. The goal of the initiative is to increase awareness and provide meaningful employment opportunities to people with disabilities by implementing inclusion strategies that recognize talent, increase engagement and drive business results.

Some of the ways in which McLane is increasing disability inclusion is by:

  • Forming partnerships with community organizations that support McLane’s goal of disability inclusion
  • Providing awareness training
  • Increasing recruiting efforts targeting people and veterans with disabilities
